Frequently Asked Questions

Are corrals available?
Corrals have lifetime owners. If their owners are unable to make the ride, then they will be made available to rent for the weekend. We will not know until closer to the ride date how many corrals we will have available. Rented corrals are first come, first serve. Please be prepared with a backup containment option (long-lining, portable corrals/electric fence).

Will there be a photographer?
Fall 2025: Yes! Celestial Photography will be joining us for a 3rd time. 

When is food provided?
Saturday! Lunch on the trail and dinner is included in the registration fee. Dinner is BBQ with the typical sides, and then we have cake for dessert! Click here if you'd like to see some of the previous cakes that were made for the ride.
 Breakfast is cooked Sunday morning and is available for purchase for $7.

How long are the trails?
The trails range from about 4 miles to 16 miles. Saturday and Sunday include a section on the beach (bay-side)
Please ride the trails as marked on the correct day. Often times, we have hunters that do not appreciate us straying from the paths they're made aware are going to be in use.
Saturday and Sunday trails are only to be ridden on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

How much is the registration fee?
As of the Fall 2024 ride, the registration fee is $55. This fee helps cover your food, as well as raise funds for the Northampton Fire and Rescue.

Can I leave Monday morning?
Yes, but no riding on Monday.

Is it really rain or shine?
Yes, rain or shine. If the conditions are downright dangerous, and the committee decides to postpone the ride (which does not often happen), we will offer rain checks, but no refunds.
